FM Gerapetritis statements to ERT on conclusion of visit to Tripoli, Libya

Greek Foreign Affairs Minister George Gerapetritis concluded a round of contacts with Libya on Tuesday that included a visit to Benghazi last week and in Tripoli on Tuesday.
In statements to national broadcasting agency ERT and journalist Pierros Tzanetakos, Gerapetritis said, "With my visit to Benghazi last week we have today concluded a series of contacts in Libya, with my visit to Tripoli. This included meetings with the president of the Presidential Council, with the prime minister, and with the foreign minister."
The FM added, "Our talks were held in a highly productive atmosphere, and we jointly decided to place again on track the major issues that concern us - the migration issue, bilateral trade, and of course the delimitation of maritime zones between the two countries."
He concluded, "A strong, unified, and independent Libya in harmonious cooperation with Greece is a guarantee of security and prosperity for the wider region."
