MFA suggests Greeks in Jordan contact Embassy and follow local instructions amid airspace closure

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in light of the closure of Jordanian airspace, advises Greek citizens currently in the country to contact their airline, consult official sources for updates, and follow the instructions of local authorities.
In a statement, the MFA adds that Greek citizens may also contact the Embassy of Greece in Amman at tel: 00962 795693000 or via e-mail at gremb.amn@mfa.gr.
The Ministry further notes that its recommendation issued on 15.10.2023, advising against travel to Lebanon except when absolutely necessary, remains in effect.
