Greek proposal on cooperation with like - minded partners part of European Council conclusions

Greece's proposal that the European Council conclusions  include a reference on security and defense cooperation with like - minded partners was accepted, according to information.
Specifically, the text on the Council's conclusions will include the following reference:

"The European Council underlines the importance of cooperation with like - minded partners which share our targets in foreign policy and in the policy on security. It welcomes in this respect the EU's recent partnership relations of security and defense with the United Kingdom and Canada."
