'Posidonas' ferry to Saronic Gulf docked after issue lifting its anchors

Authorities banned the sailing of ferry 'Posidonas' at the port of Piraeus on Saturday, over problems with the weighing of its anchors.

The ferry was scheduled to depart for the islands of Aegina and Angistri in the Saronic Gulf, carrying 743 passengers, 54 private cars, 2 buses, and 32 motorcycles. The passengers will be forwarded to their destinations on other ships and at the discretion of the ship's owners.
