Wildfire breaks out near Penteli Monastery

A wildfire has broken out in a forest area near Penteli Monastery. According to the Fire Brigade the fire broke out at approximately 16.23.
A total of 40 firefighters with 15 fire engines, along with volunteers, have been mobilised to contain the fire, assisted by two aircraft and one helicopter. Water tankers from local authorities are also providing support.
