Fire in low vegetation in Anavyssos has no active front

Without an active front, the fire that broke out in Anavyssos, Eastern Attica, remains, according to the fire brigade. Strong firefighting forces remain on the scene.
The fire started in low vegetation north of Anavyssos around 15:40 in Thuesday, with scattered houses nearby. Shortly after 16:00, a message via 112 was sent to residents of Palaia Fokaia and Anavyssos, advising evacuation of these areas and directing them to head towards Athens due to the ongoing fire.
