Marinakis: Tempi case will be judged calmly based on actual facts

The 70,000-page case file of Tempi does not allow for hasty decisions, government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis said in an interview with Action24 TV on Friday. 
Marinakis stressed that the government will act on the basis of the actual facts and without political exploitation. "No political exploitation, no rush, first we will study the facts," he said, rejecting the logic of propaganda. He supported the referral to the court, while stressing that "the case will be judged calmly" and "based on the actual facts", rejecting the opposition's claims of a cover-up.

Regarding university police, he said that the measure did not succeed, adding that the government does not have problem admitting its failure.
