Defense Min Dendias: Procurement plan aims at increasing deterrent and combat capability

National Defense Minister Nikos Dendias presented the long-term plan for Armed Forces procurements (2025-2036) to the Greek Parliament's Special Standing Committee on Armament Programs and Contracts on Thursday.

The briefing was classified, but the plan's purpose is to increase the Armed Forces' deterrence and combat capability, within the current fiscal constraints, and activating the participation of domestic defense and ship-building industry to a 25% share, incorporating innovation and updated technologies.
