4.3R quake in the sea region of Methoni; light tremor jolts Crete

An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale was recorded on Monday at 07:30 in the sea area 52km south of Methoni.
The tremor was felt in several areas of Messinia.
Light tremor jolts Crete
Athens National Observatory's Geodynamic Institute announced that on Monday at 10:12 it recorded a light earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale in the sea region 39 km north-northeast of Neapolis, Lassithi region, Crete.
The quake's epicentre was located 324 km southeast of Athens.
