Star Alliance won the top award as the World's Best Airline Alliance at the Skytrax Awards. The Star Alliance Lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle also won the award as the World's Best Airline Alliance Lounge.

Star Alliance won the top award for the 13th time in the history of this category of the award, which was established in 2005.
