
The Hellenic Competition Commission participates in the CompEUte project, an initiative funded by the European Union aimed at strengthening the legal knowledge and skills of administrative and civil judges in our country, in the application of competition law in the digital market.
The project includes a series of actions, such as:
* Analysis of the training needs of Judges regarding EU competition law
* Development of an innovative training program, aiming at informing them about the rules of competition law, developing interdisciplinary skills and familiarizing them with basic economic principles and technical terminology required to understand the basic framework of competition law in the digital age
* Carrying out training courses
* Development of digital training programs for asynchronous training, which can be utilized in the future by judicial officers
* Organization of visits to the Competition Commission and the Court of Justice of the European Union, as well as a conference in Athens with an international orientation while aiming at promoting pan-European cooperation, networking and cross-border dialogue on competition issues in the digital market.
The project started in November 2024 and will last until April 2026.
