New IKEA store opens in Top Parks retail center in Patras; 500 staff

Fourlis Group inaugurated a new IKEA store in Patras on Wednesday.
The store is the Group's sixth and went into operation the same day. Other stores are located in Thessaloniki, the Athens International Airport, Kifissos Avenue, Thessaly, and Ioannina.
Since 2013, IKEA had set up an order and pickup center in Patras, which is now shut down.
The new IKEA Patras store covers 7,200 square meters.
Fourlis Group President Vassilis Fourlis said the store is the first large store to open after 2010 and expressed the hope that it covers the needs of the northwestern Peloponnese. It lies within the Top Parks retail center and has a staff of 500.
