Fire breaks out in Monastiraki, Alexandroupolis

A fire broke out on Tuesday, at approximately 11.00 am, in the Monastiraki area of the Municipality of Alexandroupoli.
According to the Fire Department, 38 firefighters with 13 vehicles, a team on foot assisted by two aircraft and one helicopter operate to extinguish the fire.
High temperatures and severe drought prevail in the area.
