Amaronda Resort and Spa hotel opens its doors in Eretria

The four-star newly renovated Amaronda Resort and Spa hotel has opened its doors in Eretria, one of Evia’s most popular spots holiday spots.
The hotel, owned by Andreas Manessis, the founder of Manessis Travel, offers 157 rooms with private balconies and great views in the main building, as well as elegant and comfortable bungalows with their own private pools.
Amaronda also boasts its own lovely sandy beach, two pools, a spa, a kids' club, two tennis courts, a basketball court, a beach volley court, a gourmet restaurant, an a-la-carte tavern on the beach, a bar by the pool, a beach bar and a conference centre equipped with audiovisual equipment and the capacity to seat up to 120.
The aim of the Amaronda Resort and Spa is to upgrade tourism services in the area of Evia, Manessis told the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA). "It is a small four-star hotel that aspires to meet the needs of its customers and offer high-level services," he explained.
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday there is piano evening, while every Tuesday there is a wine-tasting event accompanied by the sounds of a saxophone.
Inside the hotel, guests can see works of art by produced by noted contemporary Greek artists Yannis Gaitis, Opi Zouni and Vasso Tsonoglou, while the pillows are the creation of Elena Votsi, who designed the 2004 Olympic Games medals. As Manessis said, "Our aim is for families to become acquainted with art."
The occupancy rate of the hotel is currently at 100 pct, while apart from Greeks, most of the guests at the moment are either French or Polish, since Amaronda has already attracted the interest of foreign tour operators.
