Intracom Defense Electronics (IDE) presented its new innovative product Hybrid Genaircon.

The technology of the system is based on the HEPS (Hybrid Electrical Power Systems) line of products and offers an integrated solution for military vehicles, with a hybrid supplementary energy unit, an advanced energy storage system and an air conditioning control system.

The presentation of the product coincides with the first contract signed between IDE and BAE Systems, under which Intracom Defense Electronics will install the Hybrid Genaircon system to the M109 mobile artillery of Greek Armed Forces. The contract is expected to be implemented in 2017.
