National and Kapodistrian University of Athens offers free e-learning for 200 islanders, border residents

Τhe National and Kapodistrian University of Athens has announced that it will offer 200 free places on e-learning training programmes for permanent residents of islands and remote border regions of Greece in the following regions: North Aegean, South Aegean, Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Western Macedonia, Ionian Islands and Epirus.

The aim of the programme, implemented by the E-Learning Programme of the Training and Lifelong Learning Center of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, in cooperation with the General Secretariat for Vocational Education, Training and Lifelong Learning is "to meet the needs for training in island and border areas in specific areas".

 Priority will be given to residents of remote small islands and inaccessible areas near the border that are in the aforementioned regions, the university said.
