Greek state bond yields fall to new record lows

Greek state bond prices rose substantially pushing yields to new record lows in the domestic electronic secondary bond market on Monday.
The 10-year bond yield was 1.013 pct in midday trading, down 4.75 pct from Friday's levels, falling to a new all-time low, while the five-year bond yield eased to 0.296 pct, down 17 pct from Friday. Traders said Greek state bonds seemed to act as safe haven for investors amid a global turmoil caused by a fast-spreading novel coronavirus.
