A 77-year-old man from North Macedonia died in a road accident that occurred on Tuesday afternoon on the Egnatia Odos.
The accident occurred when the car driven by a 49-year-old Greek man collided with a vehicle in front of him, in which a 77-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman from North Macedonia were travelling. The 77-year-old man died as a result of the collision, while the female passenger was slightly injured and was taken to a local hospital.
According to police authorities, the 49-year-old driver was arrested, and police are investigating the causes of the accident.
