Wildfire in Feneos, Corinth tackled by strong ground and aerial forces

Strong firefighting forces continue to battle the wildfire that broke out in a forested area in Feneos, Corinth.
According to the fire brigade, the fire is burning in a mountainous and inaccessible area on the border between Arcadia and Corinth, which complicates the efforts of the firefighting teams.
The fire brigade announced that reinforcements have been deployed: 185 firefighters, including six forestry teams and 56 vehicles, are now operating in the area.
Fifteen aircraft and twelve helicopters have been mobilized for aerial firefighting, while project machinery and water trucks are also assisting.
Late on Tuesday afternoon, a new 112 emergency alert was issued, calling for the evacuation of the areas of Kionia, Stymphalia, and Matsiza, instructing residents to head towards Psari area. Earlier, a similar message had been sent to evacuate the areas of Karteri, Drosopigi, Kastania, and Lavka.
