A rescue operation for 63 foreign nationals on board a sailing boat was carried out in the sea area south of Tilos island. The operation was coordinated by the Integrated Search and Rescue Coordination Centre of the Greek Coast Guard.
The sailing boat was spotted by two Coast Guard patrol vessels, which proceeded to rescue the occupants.
The rescued individuals were safely transported to  Mandraki port, Rhodes, where they received first aid.
