A firefighting helicopter had to make an emergency water landing off just outside the port of Elefsina on Tuesday. According to the Fire Department, a leased Erickson helicopter participating in the operation to put out a fire in Aspropyrgos had to made an emergency water landing while collecting water at Elefsina. The pilot and the two crew members (two Americans and one Greek) were rescued by a Coast Guard vessel and are being taken to "Attiko" hospital by ambulance.
