Greece assists Albania with two firefighting aircraft to battle wildfire in Dukat

Greece is providing assistance to Albania with the dispatch of two Canadair CL-415 firefighting aircraft to extinguish a wildfire that has broken out in the Dukat, Vlora County.
The deployment of the air assets is being carried out through the European Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM), which was activated following a request from the Albanian government to the European Emergency Response Coordination Centre (ERCC).
