Traffic was restored on Egnatia Odos on Friday afternoon after the removal of an overturned truck had forced a shutdown of a section.

The highway was shut down in the section near Drepano, between the Koila and Polymylos interchanges, in the north-bound lanes.

A crane truck removed the truck that had accidentally blocked the section. The driver, a foreign national, was slightly injured and taken to hospital preventatively.
