A truck overturned on Friday on the Egnatia Motorway, near Drepano, between the Koila and Polymylos interchanges, heading toward Thessaloniki.
According to initial information from the police, the foreign driver lost control of the vehicle for reasons still unknown, resulting in the truck overturning and blocking both traffic lanes.
Currently, vehicle traffic is being routed through the Emergency Lane (LEA). However, once the recovery vehicle arrives to lift the overturned truck, traffic will be temporarily halted.
The driver reportedly sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
