An explosion occurred shortly after 6:00 on Friday at a restaurant located on Parnonos Street in Marousi, Attica.
Two female employees of the restaurant, aged 45 and 53, were injured in the explosion and were taken to "Gennimatas" Hospital with burn wounds.
According to initial reports, the explosion was caused by a gas cylinder leak.
The Marousi Police Department is conducting a preliminary investigation into the causes of the incident.
