A programmed flight for the return of third country nationals who requests for asylum have been irrevocably rejected was carried out on Tuesday, July 15. The flight deported 40 Pakistani and 10 Georgian nationals and the operation was organised by the Hellenic Police, under the coordination of FRONTEX.
"Our country continues to implement a strict but fair migration policy by granting asylum only to those that are entitled," underlined a Migration and Asylum Ministry announcement, adding that "for the rest, the only way out is repatriation or detention".
