Committee for Strategic Investments approves plans for four business projects

Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos on Tuesday convened the fourth meeting this year of the Ministerial Committee for Strategic Investments. The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Kostis Hatzidakis, Environment and Energy Minister Stavros Papastavrou, Culture Minister Lina Mendoni, Deputy Foreign Minister Haris Theoharis, General Secretary for Private Investments Stellina Siarapi and Enterprise Greece CEO Marinos Giannopoulos.
The meeting approved four investment plans with a combined budget of 290 million euros, expected to create 316 new jobs, including: 
- Expanding the capacity of the yoghurt and ice-cream production units at the dairy industry 'Kri Kri'
- Expanding the production capacity of Fulgor - Hellenic Electric Cable Company's existing unit
- Construction of a comprehensive tourism resort named "Phaea - South Crete"
- Construction of an energy-autonomous tourism resort named Diaporos Green Retreat on the islet Diaporos in Halkidiki
