Evaluation of health services in hospitals by patients

Any patient discharged from a public hospital, except pediatric and oncology hospitals, will be able to evaluate the services of the National Health System within seven days.
Citizens discharged from the hospital from today will receive an SMS with a link. This link leads to a questionnaire application, where the citizen has the opportunity within 3 minutes to select specific answers to specific questions regarding the quality of their treatment in the hospital.
"We give a voice to users, we learn what they experienced in the hospital," Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis said calling on citizens to participate in this process.
Measuring the satisfaction of citizens who have been hospitalized in NHS hospitals concerns elements such as:
1. Accessibility
2. Organization and coordination of care
3. Quality of care and interaction with staff (communication, courtesy and trust)
4. Support and participation in decision-making
5. Cleanliness, hygiene and nutrition
6. Support and information upon discharge from the hospital
7. Knowledge of the existence of the Office for the Protection of the Rights of Recipients of Health Services in hospitals and the effectiveness of service
8. General/overall evaluation of the care provided.
