The summer sales start on Monday, July 14, and will last until the end of August, while stores can optionally remain open on Sunday, July 20, 2025.
The sales period is suitable for "smart shopping" for consumers and the commercial world expects increased purchasing activity that will lead to an increase in total turnover.
As Vasilis Korkidis, the president of the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has stated to ANA-MPA, the commercial world maintains its optimism and places its hopes for a greater turnover than last year on the increased tourist flows, during the summer sales period. 
Attractive prices on selected and branded items usually act as a magnet for the shopping public, who, however, compare the discount prices offered in e-shops.
