Investigations are underway to locate a 33-year-old Serbian woman, who has been missing for the past 24 hours, from the Pefkohori area of Halkidiki.
Her disappearance was reported this morning to the Kassandra Police Department by her 42-year-old friend, with whom she traveled to Greece for vacation.
According to sources, the two women were swimming on the beach of Pefkohori, when at approximately 2:00 p.m. the 33-year-old informed her friend that she was going to buy something from a local store. However, she did not return to the beach and the 42-year-old began searching for her without success.
Since her disappearance was officially declared, investigations have been launched by the Authorities, with the assistance of volunteer rescuers, but so far they have been fruitless.
