The construction of a 67-kilometre section of the Greece-North Macedonia gas pipeline interconnector, extending from Negotino to the border with Greece began on Wednesday.

An inauguration ceremony was held near Negotino city, attended by the Prime Minister of North Macedonia Hristijan Mickoski, along with the ambassadors of the US, the European Union, and Greece to the country, as well as representatives from NOMAGAS, DESFA, SRBIJAGAS, EBRD, and the EIB.
