Acropolis to close between 13:00 and 17:00 on Wednesday due to extreme heat

The City of Athens Antiquities Ephorate on Wednesday announced that the Athens Acropolis archaeological site will close between the hours of 13:00 and 17:00 due to the high temperatures expected as a result of the current heatwave, for the protection of staff and visitors.
