Greek authorities in cooperation with FRONTEX rescued another 162 foreigners on Monday from three overloaded boats in the sea area south of Gavdos.
The operation was launched following a notification from a FRONTEX vessel patrolling the wider maritime zone.
The foreigners are being transferred to the port of Agia Galini, where they are expected to receive first aid and the necessary care from the competent authorities.
