Houthis say attack on Greek-owned bulk carrier ‘Magic Seas’, ship sinks in Red Sea

Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthis announced that the Greek-owned bulk carrier Magic Seas, which they had targeted in a drone and missile attack on Sunday, sank on Monday in the Red Sea.
The Houthis claimed responsibility for the attack on the Liberian-flagged Magic Seas, which was sailing near the port of Hodeidah, alleging that the ship had anchored in the Israeli port.
The Greek managing company told Reuters that the 19-member crew was safely transferred to Djibouti on Monday. No Greeks were among the crew members, Greek Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy Ministry sources told ANA-MPA on Sunday.
