Residents of Agios Dimitrios in Koropi, Attica and in the coastal districts Galazia Akti and Althea received a 112 message to evacuate toward the resort of Lagonisi on Friday, due to a wildfire burning in Agios Dimitrios.
The fire started at 13:15 in low vegetation and close to houses. The fire department has sent 75 fire fighters with five ground teams and 25 vehicles to put out the flames, with the assistance of four helicopters and two airplanes.
