A collision between two OASA public transport buses in the seaside suburb of Voula on Friday left 47 injured at the latest count, including several children. The accident occurred at 11:30, on Karamanlis Avenue near the 1st Beach of Voula.
According to the latest update from the crash, one woman sustained serious injuries, 31 adults were taken to the Asklipio Hospital in Voula, another six to the Gennimatas Hospital in Athens and 10 children to the Aglaia Kyriakou Children's Hospital.
The ambulance service responded in less than five minutes, sending 11 ambulances, of which three were mobile medical units, and two emergency aid motorcycles.
