A fire has broken out at a waste disposal site in Markopoulo, Attica. According to the fire brigade, the fire broke out around 16:25 and so far poses no risk of spreading.  To extinguish the fire, 30 firefighters with 10 vehicles, volunteers, 4 aircraft and a helicopter were mobilized. 
Water trucks and project machinery are also assisting.
