Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos signed first three schemes of the new development law for 2025.
The platform for submitting applications will be accessible through the website of the General Secretariat for Private Investments https://ependyseis.mindev.gov.gr/el and will be "open" in July and August, until September 10. The investment projects submitted will be evaluated within 90 days after the end of the application deadline, at which time the results for the first cycle will be issued, so that the corresponding process for 2026 can begin.
For the first time, the emphasis is placed on manufacturing, industry, border regions and regions with an income below 70% of the national average, and large investments, based on the objectives of productive transformation for sustainable and resilient growth, job creation and addressing regional and social inequalities.
The investment projects submitted and approved will receive 450 million euros in subsidies and tax exemptions, while they will also have access to loans from the Development Bank and the European Investment Bank.
