The fire that broke out on Monday, at around 20.30, in a plastics factory in Megara has been brought under partial control.

As reported by the Fire Department, the fire initially broke out in the yard of the factory, burning plastic crates, and then spread inside. Shortly afterwards, at 21.30, a message was sent via 112 to residents calling on them to remain indoors and close doors and windows due to the smoke from the fire at the plastics factory in the industrial zone of the area.

A total of 34 firefighters with 16 vehicles operated in the area.
