Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister and Government Spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis presented the bill for the strengthening of the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) to the Cabinet on Monday.

The initiative aims to achieve a more efficient, transparent and modern organisation and operation of the ERT, as Marinakis said. In this regard, its executives will be promoted and rewarded for their contributions to fulfilling its mission, while new qualified professionals from the market will also join its staff. 

Among them, an innovation hub will be set up at ERT, which will target innovation in the audiovisual media sector.
