Dimas (ΤΕΕ): Digital transformation is a key pillar of public policy

The digital transformation is "a key pillar in the implementation of public policy, directly affecting the efficiency, transparency and quality of services provided to citizens," Infrastructure and Transport Minister Christos Dimas said on Monday, speaking to the conference organised by the Technical Chamber of Greece (ΤΕΕ).

Dimas referred to the "excellent initiative of the Technical Chamber of Greece that aims to highlight the role of digital transformation as a catalyst for the modernisation of the state, infrastructure and, of course, citizen service, thereby strengthening cooperation between the State, the technical world and the market."

He made special mention of "the people behind the commendable work of the TEE, the Greek men and women engineers", who "are not satisfied with theory, but transform know-how into tangible results, laying the foundations for a more modern, functional and resilient Greece."

Dimas then presented some of the key initiatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, which "are aligned with the broader national goal of digital transformation."
