Traffic ban in protected areas and forests due to weather conditions will be implemented from Saturday at 8 am to 8 am on Sunday in the municipality of Kassandra, in Halkidiki due to the increased risk of wildfire.

The passage, stay and movement of persons and vehicles is prohibited in NATURA areas, as well as in forest ecosystems, parks and groves. The decision was taken on the recommendation of the Fire Service and with the agreement of the forestry authorities. Violators are punished with an administrative fine of 300 euros.
