PASOK - Movement for Change spokesperson Kostas Tsoukalas, in an interview with Parapolitika radio station on the OPEKEPE issue, said that the party is studying the case file, which extends to three thousand pages. He also noted that “ it seems there are elements that require further investigation.”

Tsoukalas said that the audit underway is extensive and serious, without theatrics, and that PASOK is aligned with the spirit of the investigation already conducted by the Public Prosecutor's Office.

He further stressed that “ the existence of a scandal is a given,” adding: “ What we have to determine is whether there was political cover or political tolerance.”
Tsoukalas also emphasised that the OPEKEPE scandal was organised and carried out at the expense of the Greek people. “ We are not talking about distortions, but about an entire mechanism,” he said.
