The case file from the European Public Prosecutor’s Office concerning the Greek Payment Authority of Common Agricultural Policy (OPEKEPE) has been forwarded to the Hellenic Parliament and is expected on Wednesday to be formally announced in plenary. Following the announcement, access to the file will be granted to the political parties.

Government sources regarding the issue of the Greek Payment Authority of the Common Agricultural Policy (OPEKEPE) noted that "the Prime Minister's absolute priority was and remains the full consolidation of the long-standing pathologies in the operation of OPEKEPE."
The same sources added that the abolition of OPEKEPE, through the integration of its payment and control functions into the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE), has already been announced and is currently in progress.
