The Panhellenic Union of Merchant Shipping Seamen (PENEN) voted to continue its rolling strikes on the ferries serving the Patras-Igoumenitsa-Italy line with a new 24-hour strike starting at 6:00 on Tuesday, June 24, until the same hour on Wednesday, June 25.
The Union called on the government to accept its responsibilities and provide solutions to their demands, emphasising that unilateral concessions and pressures to create faits accomplis will not be accepted.
