A search is underway for the identification of a 7-year-old foreign boy who is missing in the sea area northwest of Farmakonisi.
According to the Coast Guard, the disappearance of the minor was reported by one of the forty foreigners on board an inflatable boat, which ran aground on the northern rocky coast of the island. A lifeboat, a patrol boat and a diver are involved in the search.
