An emergency message via 112 was sent to residents of Karavostasi and Plytra, Laconia, to evacuate and head toward Papadianika due to an ongoing wildfire.
"Forest fire in the area of Karavostasi of the Regional Unit of Laconia. If you are in the areas of Karavostasi and Plytra, move away to Papadiannika and follow the instructions of the authorities."
