Five binding offers submitted for majority stake at Lavrio port

Five binding offers have been submitted for a majority stake (51%) in the share capital of the Lavrio Port Authority SA, the Greek Superfund announced on Friday.

Specifically, the binding offers were submitted by the following investment schemes (in alphabetical order):
- Consortium GEK TERNA - CELESTYAL
- Consortium INTERKAT SA - BEAUFORT SEA SHIPPING CORPORATION - NEWSPHONE HELLAS SA 
- Consortium OLYMPIC MARINE SA - CRUISE TERMINAL INVESTMENT LIMITED SARL
- ISRAEL SHIPYARDS INDUSTRIES LTD 
- JET PLAN SHIPPING CO LTD.

The process of evaluating the offers for Attica's third-largest port will begin immediately, according to the terms of the invitation for the binding offers.

Offers of investors who fulfil the tender's requirements will be unsealed at a future meeting of the Superfund's board of managers, following all foreseen procedures.
