Fourty one agroforestry fires occurred in the last twenty-four hours throughout Greece. Of these, according to the Fire Brigade, 37 were dealt with immediately, at their initial stage, while firefighters are still dealing with four more.
A fire that had broken out in low vegetation in Agios Romanos in Tinos island and in an agroforestry area in Sykia, Halkidiki, were brought under control.
