Labor ministry issues invitation to companies for 'Rebrain Greece' event in NYC on Dec 7

The Labor & Social Insurance Ministry will hold a new event in the 'Rebrain Greece' series to attract Greeks abroad to return to jobs in Greece at New York City on Sunday, December 7, and issued a public call of interest to private-sector businesses looking for high-specialty officers living in the United States.
So far, Rebrain Greece events held in Amsterdam, Dusseldorf, London, and Stuttgart attracted the participation of over 5,000 Greeks working abroad, encouraging the ministry to expand the action to the United States and New York in particular, where most Greeks in the US live.
Prospective employees will have the opportunity to talk with companies operating in Greece, whether Greek or international, and participating companies will have the opportunity to network with a large number of Greeks excelling abroad for partnerships or employment. The Greek state offers significant incentives to returning Greeks, including a 50% tax reduction for seven years, and special fast-track procedures for doctors get their specialties recognized.
According to Eurostat data, a total of 659,547 Greeks left their country between 2010 and 2023, and 422,688 have returned.
For more info, companies can call 213 15 16 074/ 267/ 646 or email info@rebraingreece.gr until Monday, June 30. The cost of the event is shared among participating companies.
